his own colors at the fair.

Pastificio Martelli, Toscana:
Between the 1960s and the '70s,
most pasta manufacturers were
at two crucial junctions:
industrialization or closure.
But the Martelli family was an
exception. In the historic town of
Lari, the Mario and Dino brothers,

quantity, dating back to 1926 to
preserve craftsmanship.

a centuries-old soap-making tradition
that requires at least 20 days of
processing for the best quality.

natural ingredients, and the Seal of
